The Andalusian style is characterized by being a bright, fresh and relaxing style. It predominates throughout the Mediterranean and has its origin in Roman and Arab dwellings, where family life revolved around an interior yard (atrium) which the rest of the rooms were around distributed. White colour predominates and whitewashed walls to keep freshness. Rustic anea and blue ceramis accessories, ocher and green ceramics to add colour. In the furniture, there is a predilection for dark wood like oak or walnut. In the garden there are abundant trees and aromatic plants such as orange blossom, carnations or jasmine. Wrought iron headboards and railings, Arabic tiles, hand-painted ceramic and visible wooden beams are other characteristics of this style that brings freshness, comfort and home.

Another feature that characterizes the Andalusian style is that it can be complemented with a touch of vintage or rustic furniture. This Eloy ceiling lamp, for example, is an Andalusian lantern 65cm in diameter with an octagonal shape in transparent glass. The matte black finish of the structure is reminiscent of wrought iron, making it very easy to combine in a bedroom or hallway. It will create a very original contrast suspended from a ceiling with exposed wood beams. The transparent glass allows you to see the interior structure of the lantern, made up of four E27 lampholders that accept LEDs. We recommend using amber glass Edison bulbs, this way you will get a very elegant vintage touch.

If you like to break with the established, this eclectic design will be perfect to illuminate your Andalusian-style home. It works with an E27 lamp holder that supports LED technology. One of the sides of the glass has a small hinge that allows the opening to facilitate the installation and change of the bulb.
Following the same design as the Edan Andalusian lantern, Dorien Andalusian lantern ceiling lamp is made with much more impressive measurements: 90cm in diameter and a matt black structure that supports twelve faces of opal glass. This last ceiling lamp differs quite a bit from the Andalusian style, but it is ideal for modernist buildings. The structure in matt black finish combines very well with railings or details finished in wrought iron. It works with four E27 lampholder LED bulbs, as it is a very large lantern, we recommend you use bulbs with enough power (about 800lm). And don’t worry about consumption, LED bulbs are low in consumption. These vintage Andalusian lanterns can be placed in the hall of a hotel or a neighborhood community.
